Kim Lawrence

Kim Lawrence is a romance novelist from North Wales who has written category romances for Mills & Boon, and its North American partner Harlequin, since her first books were published in 1995.

She was born and brought up in North Wales in a family of English and Irish descent. She went back to the area when she married, her two sons were born on Anglesey, and the family now lives on the farm where her husband was raised. She trained and worked as a nurse, but with small children the shift work no longer suited her, and with her husband's backing she turned to writing; as a long-standing Mills & Boon reader, romance was the obvious genre to attempt.

Her earliest titles recorded by Open Library are Relentless Seduction and Passionate Retribution, both issued by Harlequin Mills & Boon in 1995. A Wife of Convenience followed in 1996, Wedding-Night Baby and Wild and Willing! in 1997, and in 1998 the linked Triplet Brides stories, including An Innocent Affair and The Secret Father. She has published steadily ever since.

For collectors. Her novels were issued as paperback originals and frequently reprinted, so one title can exist in several editions within a short span. Open Library shows Passionate Retribution as a 1995 Mills & Boon book and a 1996 Harlequin Presents edition, and Relentless Seduction reappearing in 1997. Anyone seeking the earliest printing of a title should compare the imprint and date on the copyright page rather than relying on the cover branding.
