Rina Kent

Rina Kent (born 1991) is a British dark romance author based in London, best known for the six-book Legacy of Gods series, which began with God of Malice in 2022.

Wikidata records her birth in London on 6 December 1991 and her British citizenship. Her official site says a film villain caught her sympathy at the age of five, and that morally grey men later became the focus of her fiction; she writes anti-heroes and villains, and calls her connected series the Rinaverse. Her publishers describe her as a New York Times, USA Today and number one Amazon bestseller of enemies-to-lovers romance, and her site says she lives privately in London.

Legacy of Gods ran from 2022 to 2024: God of Malice, God of Pain, God of Wrath (2022), God of Ruin (2023), God of Fury (2023) and God of War (2024). Later series include the Monster trilogy (Blood of My Monster, 2023), the Villain series (Kiss the Villain, 2025) and Vipers (Beautiful Venom and Sweet Venom, 2025). Penguin published God of Malice in the UK on 21 November 2024, and Penguin's Evermore imprint issued Cruel King, first of the Royal Elite series that precedes Legacy of Gods, in January 2026.

For collectors

Kent's books exist in more than one publishing line: the Legacy of Gods titles first appeared between 2022 and 2024, and Penguin's UK editions followed from November 2024. Anyone seeking first printings should check the publisher and date on the copyright page, since the Penguin editions are later reissues.
