How to identify this edition

The first British edition was published by Victor Gollancz in 1966, a year after the Chilton first edition in the United States, which is the true first. It predates ISBNs; ISBN 9780575035409 belongs to a later Gollancz issue, not the first. Dealers describe the first-impression jacket as printed with a price of 30s. net, so an unclipped jacket showing that price is the thing to look for, and a jacket without it may be from a later impression or a replacement. The first British edition is scarce.
