Jennie Lucas

Jennie Lucas is a romance novelist who writes for Harlequin Presents, also published in the UK by Mills & Boon, and whose first novel, The Greek Billionaire's Baby Revenge, appeared in December 2007.

Her Open Road Media biography says she grew up surrounded by books because her parents owned a bookshop. She met her future husband at 22, graduated from Kent State University with a degree in English, and began writing novels a year later. She was a finalist in the Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart contest for unpublished writers in 2003 and won it in 2005.

Her debut, The Greek Billionaire's Baby Revenge, was published as Harlequin Presents #2690 in December 2007, with Harlequin Mills & Boon editions the same year, and The Spaniard's Defiant Virgin followed in 2008. Further titles include The Christmas Love-Child (2009), Sensible Housekeeper, Scandalously Pregnant (2010), Reckless Night in Rio (2011) and To Love, Honor and Betray (Harlequin Presents #3085, September 2012). That Christmas novel was a 2010 RITA finalist in the contemporary series romance category. Romance Wiki notes 18 novels for Harlequin at the time of its entry, and Open Road Media lists 19 titles.

For collectors. Her books are numbered paperback originals in the Harlequin Presents and Presents Extra lines, with parallel Mills & Boon editions in Britain, so dates and titles can vary slightly by market. Open Library records 2007 Harlequin Mills & Boon editions of both her first two novels. The line and number on the cover identify a first printing.
