Liz Fielding

Liz Fielding is a British romance novelist, born in Berkshire and living in Carmarthenshire, Wales, who has written more than 60 novels for Mills & Boon since her debut, An Image of You, in 1992.

At 20 she went to Lusaka, Zambia, to work as a secretary, and she later followed her husband, a civil engineer, to Bahrain, Kenya and Botswana. That experience fed her first novel, An Image of You, a Kenya-set romance published in 1992. Romance Wiki places her books in the Mills & Boon Tender Romance, Cherish and Tempted lines and in Harlequin Romance and Harlequin KISS. Romance Wiki reports more than 15 million copies of her books in print.

She has won two Romance Writers of America RITA awards: in 2001 for The Best Man and the Bridesmaid (traditional romance) and in 2006 for The Marriage Miracle (short contemporary romance). A Family of His Own won a Romantic Novelists' Association award in 2005, and the RNA gave her its Outstanding Achievement Award in 2019.

For collectors. Her books were published in category romance lines, so original printings are the Mills & Boon and Harlequin series editions rather than later reprints. Her first book is An Image of You (1992), and her RITA winners are The Best Man and the Bridesmaid and The Marriage Miracle.
