Lori Wick

Lori Wick (born 1958) is an American author of Christian romance fiction, both historical and contemporary, many of whose books are published by Harvest House; her debut, A Place Called Home, appeared in 1990.

She lives in Wisconsin with her husband and three children. Her first book, A Place Called Home, appeared in May 1990 and opened a four-book series completed by A Song for Silas (1990), The Long Road Home (1991) and A Gathering of Memories (1991). She followed it with The Californians series, beginning with Whatever Tomorrow Brings (1992), and the Kensington Chronicles, opening with The Hawk and the Jewel (1993). Later series include Rocky Mountain Memories, The Yellow Rose trilogy, English Garden, the Tucker Mills trilogy and Big Sky Dreams, alongside stand-alone novels such as Sophie's Heart (1995), The Princess (1999) and City Girl (2001).

She won the 2005 Christian Retailing award for Best Women's Fiction and has been a finalist four times for the ECPA Gold Medallion Award. The INSPY awards named her among the authors who carried inspirational fiction into the 21st century.

For collectors. Her published career opens with the four Place Called Home novels, issued between May 1990 and September 1991, followed by The Californians from February 1992.
