Noli Me Tangere

by José Rizal

Noli Me Tangere is a Spanish-language novel by José Rizal, first printed in Berlin in 1887 by the Berliner Buchdruckerei-Aktiengesellschaft. Its satire of Spanish colonial officials and friars led Spanish authorities to ban it in the Philippines, where the Rizal Law now makes it set school reading.
