The 25th Discworld novel, published by Doubleday in London on 2 November 2000, ISBN 0 385 60102 6, in a Josh Kirby pictorial jacket priced £16.99 on the flap. The endpapers celebrate the 25th Discworld novel. Board colour is described by dealers as dark blue or purple, with silver spine lettering, so colour is not a test. For a first printing the number line on the copyright page should run down to 1; later printings of the same ISBN are offered as first editions. Copies reached Iceland and overseas markets before UK publication. The BCA book club edition (March 2001) and the American HarperCollins edition (November 2000) are not UK firsts.
