About Riddle master trilogy
The Riddle-Master trilogy is a fantasy sequence by the American author Patricia A. McKillip, published in three volumes between 1976 and 1979. It follows Morgon, Prince of Hed, in The Riddle-Master of Hed, shifts to Raederle in Heir of Sea and Fire, and concludes with Harpist in the Wind, which won the 1980 Locus Award for Best Fantasy Novel. All three were first published in hardback by Atheneum in New York. The trilogy was later collected as Riddle of Stars (Nelson Doubleday, 1979), and in Britain as The Chronicles of Morgon, Prince of Hed (Sidgwick and Jackson, 1981).
