About Rizzoli & Isles
Rizzoli & Isles is a series of crime thrillers by the American author Tess Gerritsen featuring the Boston detective Jane Rizzoli and the medical examiner Maura Isles. It began with The Surgeon, published in hardback by Ballantine in September 2001, and ran to thirteen novels, the latest being Listen to Me in 2022. Two books carry different titles in the UK and US: The Keepsake (UK: Keeping the Dead) and Ice Cold (UK: The Killing Place). The books were adapted as the TNT television series Rizzoli & Isles, which aired from 2010 to 2016. The Bone Garden (2007) is a standalone novel, not part of the series.
