About The Last Dragon Chronicles
The Last Dragon Chronicles is a low fantasy series by Chris d'Lacey about dragons in the modern world, made up of seven novels published from 2001 to 2012. Orchard Books, an imprint of Scholastic, published it in the UK, starting with The Fire Within in 2001. The run continued with Icefire, Fire Star, The Fire Eternal, Dark Fire and Fire World, and ended with The Fire Ascending in 2012. A companion guide, Rain and Fire (2010), written by d'Lacey's wife Jay, sits outside the numbered novels.
