Questions collectors ask

Frequently asked questions

How do I find out which books I am missing from a series?

Pick the series, then tick the numbers you own or type them ("1-5, 7, 12"). The finder lists every other title in the set with its first edition publisher and year, the first point of issue where we have one, and the value range where copies have sold.

Does it cover the whole set, including sub-series?

Yes. A parent series lists its child series too, so Discworld shows the Witches and City Watch books, and Ladybird 606D lists every number in the sequence.

Can I add the missing books to a wantlist?

Members can. Sign in, add the books you own to your collection, and one button puts every missing first printing on your wantlist; the series page then tracks the set as you fill it.

What if the series is not listed?

We hold about eight hundred numbered series and add more each week. The series index lists them all; the contact page takes requests.
