The British edition is the true first: Voyager (HarperCollins), London, 3 March 1997, a month before the American Bantam Spectra edition. Hardback in a jacket illustrated by John Howe, about 741 pages, ISBN 0 00 224608 2. The BNB record also lists a second ISBN, 0 00 224652 X, without naming its format; the hardback is 0 00 224608 2.
