Sacred Stone, the second Oregon Files novel, first appeared in the United States in 2004 as a Berkley trade paperback original, so there is no American first hardback to compete with. The British first is the Michael Joseph hardback; the British Library's record of the 2013 Penguin reissue states that the book was originally published in London by Michael Joseph in 2004. Penguin paperbacks (2005 onward, and the 2013 reissue, ISBN 978-1-4059-1657-8) and the Wheeler and Windsor/Paragon large print editions of 2005 are all later.
