The true first is British: HQ, an imprint of Harlequin (UK), published the novel on 23 March 2017 as a paperback, ISBN 978 0 00 822535 3, about 384 to 390 pages, with an ebook (978 0 00 822536 0) in the same year. No HQ hardback appears in the edition lists checked. The first hardback anywhere is the American Flatiron Books edition of 13 March 2018 (ISBN 978 1 250 14484 3, 262 pages, sold as a first edition), which is not the British first. Check the copyright page of the HQ paperback for a first impression number line.
