Species Plantarum
Species Plantarum is Carl Linnaeus's catalogue of all plants then known, published in two volumes by Laurentius Salvius in Stockholm in 1753. The first work to use two-part species names consistently, it is the starting point of botanical naming. The Ray Society issued a facsimile from 1957.
