The American first came from Little, Brown in New York in November 2003 (ISBN 978 0 316 60290 7, 390 pages), so look for the Headline imprint and the 0 7553 ISBN prefix. Headline's paperback followed in 2004 (ISBN 0 7553 0029 7) and a further paperback in 2010. Check the copyright page for the impression. No issue points or print run are documented.
