The novel was first published in New York by Ballantine on 8 June 2010. The British first edition is the Orion hardback of the same year (ISBN 9780752897844, 766 pages), which came out in late June 2010; a second printing followed within days, so check for a first printing. ISBN 9780752883304 is a later Orion paperback (2011) and not the first edition.
What a collector should know first: Orion did not exist before 1991. Any book dated earlier that is listed under the group name belongs to one of the firms Orion later bought, or is a later Orion reissue of an older book, so read the imprint on the title page before anything else.
