Market value

What decides the price

  • It is the first UK edition; the true first was published elsewhere.
  • The original dust jacket carries much of the price for a book of this age; its condition matters as much as the book's.
  • Condition is graded separately for book and jacket, from Fine down to Poor.

In short

Quick answer

Who published the Tutunamayanlar 2017 hardback?
Olric, London, in 2017, in hardback.
Identification

How to identify this edition

The first edition published in Britain is the first English translation, The Disconnected, translated by Sevin Seydi, issued by Olric Press, London, 2017, in hardback (xi + 715 pages, 23 cm). A library record calls it a limited edition, and a Rain Taxi review describes it as a handsome limited edition sold direct by the publisher. The Turkish original first appeared in 1972; the Iletisim edition of 1984 onwards is a later Turkish edition, not a British one.
