About Grand Central Publishing
Grand Central Publishing is a New York imprint of Hachette Book Group and the renamed successor to Warner Books, the imprint Time Warner sold to Hachette Livre in 2006.
Warner Books began in 1970, when Kinney National Company, later Warner Communications, bought the New York paperback house Paperback Library. Hachette Livre bought Time Warner Book Group on 31 March 2006 and renamed it Hachette Book Group, and the Warner Books imprint was renamed Grand Central Publishing in 2007. The name, according to publisher Jamie Raab, came from the move to offices near Grand Central Terminal; she treated the change as a chance to broaden a list rooted in mass-market paperbacks and to retire the old "W" colophon.
Grand Central's sub-imprints have included Twelve, founded in 2007 to publish one book a month, Forever and Forever Yours for romance, Balance and Legacy Lit. Its fiction list includes Min Jin Lee's Pachinko, published on 7 February 2017 and shortlisted for that year's National Book Award for Fiction.

How to identify Grand Central Publishing first editions
What to look for
Before 2007 this house was Warner Books, which grew out of a paperback publisher, so many copies are paperbacks and some reissue books first published by other houses.
1970s to 2006
Warner Books began with the purchase of the paperback house Paperback Library in 1970. Check whether a Warner paperback reissues another firm's hardcover before treating it as a first.
Book-club copies usually have no jacket price, are often a little smaller and lighter, and may have a small blind stamp pressed into the back board.
From 2007
We have not found a source describing Grand Central's copyright page in detail. Apply the general rule: the lowest number in the number line is the printing, so a line that still includes 1 is a first printing.
