About Parker Pub. Co
Parker Pub. Co. (Parker Publishing Company, Inc.) was an American publisher based in West Nyack, New York, which issued self-help, mind-power and psychic titles in the 1960s and 1970s.
Library and archive records place the firm at West Nyack by 1964, when it brought out Between Two Worlds by the psychoanalyst and psychical researcher Nandor Fodor. In 1968 it published Al G. Manning's Helping Yourself with Psycho-Cosmic Power, catalogued under the shortened imprint Parker Pub. Co.
Some books from this field had long afterlives. Joseph Murphy's The Amazing Laws of Cosmic Mind Power, for instance, came out again in July 2001 from Prentice Hall Press as a revised edition prepared by Ian McMahan.
