Away is a play by Michael Gow, first performed by Griffin Theatre Company at the Stables Theatre, Sydney, on 7 January 1986, and published by Currency Press that year. Three families take coastal holidays over Christmas 1968, meeting on the Gold Coast. Several Australian states teach it in schools.
