Breaking Dawn first appeared in the United States from Little, Brown on 2 August 2008 (hardback, 756 pages, ISBN 9780316067928). The British edition is from Atom, London, also 2008. The UK library record lists two Atom formats that year: a hardback (ISBN 9781905654284) and a paperback (ISBN 9781905654291), so check the binding and ISBN before calling a copy the UK hardback first. Open Library records the Atom hardback at 768 pages. Later issues to set aside include the 2009 American special edition with a DVD, the 2010 Windsor large print from Bath, the 2010 Atom paperback reissue (ISBN 9781907410352, 702 pages) and the 2011 Little, Brown collector's edition. The novel sold 20,000 copies in the UK in its first 24 hours.
