The Geneva Bible

by Anonymous

The Geneva Bible is an English translation first published complete in Geneva in 1560, following a New Testament of 1557. It carried Calvinist marginal notes and used roman type. The full Bible was first printed in England in 1576, and Genesis 3:7 earned it the name Breeches Bible.
