About Seasons of Horror
Seasons of Horror is a loose grouping of horror novels by Dan Simmons linked by characters from Summer of Night, his 1991 story of boys in the small Illinois town of Elm Haven in 1960. Children of the Night (1992) follows the adult Mike O'Rourke, now a Catholic priest, to Europe; Fires of Eden (1994) features the grown-up Cordie Cooke; and A Winter Haunting (2002) brings Dale Stewart back to Elm Haven as a direct sequel. Wikidata lists these four, while Wikipedia's Simmons bibliography also counts Darwin's Blade (2000).
