About The Vampire Chronicles
The Vampire Chronicles is a series of novels by Anne Rice that revolves around the vampire Lestat and the vampires connected to him. It began with Interview with the Vampire, narrated by Louis de Pointe du Lac and published by Alfred A. Knopf in April 1976. Knopf is the series publisher, and the main sequence runs to thirteen novels, ending with Blood Communion: A Tale of Prince Lestat in 2018. After Blood Canticle (2003) the series paused for about eleven years until Prince Lestat appeared in October 2014.
